What say you to the prune?...perhaps that is a bad example.... To the raisin? If youth is a state of mind, you may find the occasional aged fruit just as sweet and delectable as long as you are able to look beyond the wrinkles.
First of all, I like my fruit young, plump and juicy. I can't get through the wrinkles. But most of all, I can not get through the fact that it is dead. Once plucked from the vine, regardless how sweet, the fact remains that it is dead.
