  1. Quite a risk for you translating this, speaking for someone else, I know it is not one you took lightly. I am pleased to see that it has taken your blog in a new direction. Perhaps that is an even greater impact than the depth of the poem itself.

  2. It was not risky at all. It is one of my favorite poems in one of my aunt's poetry books, published in 1960. She recited this poem to me twice in her life time and both times she shed tears. It was no risk at all, it was a privilege.
